Mamanwa has actually no permanent living. They lives, works and sleep in the jungle and collect wood as they sell for their living. They produce products of rattan, ropes and other details from the jungle that they sell in close villages. They serve as guides to military, police, and to other, sometimes with a fatal result.
If they become wounded in their work, they has to rely on their own native medical knowledge, one they are healed and lives further or they dies of the injuries. School has been offered but resources is missing, seen from the governments side presently.

We are at the moment working with the issue to create a possibility for a development. Mamanwa shall step by step be able to be a part of the Philippine community and share educational resources equally with other Filipinos.
Taganito Mining Corporation has constructed a village for development and education called Tricom, Tribal Communication Centre. Filipino Tribe Mission tries in cooperation with TMC fill the missing educational posts with teachers with knowledge of the local languages while TMC, in connection with NCIP, continue maintaining the village.
